Art and Branding for Slope Suds Salon in Brooklyn.

I recently worked on a really fun illustration for Slope Suds Salon in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I had done some branding for them in the past, including their logo, business cards, and menu of services, and they are always a pleasure to work with.

The lovely owner, Karla, wanted to freshen up the space a bit for Spring, so she added a few coats of paint, some new furniture and decor, but she wanted something special and unique for the front entranceway … something very “Slope Suds”. I created this artwork based on some behind-the-scenes photos taken during a Slope Suds photo shoot featuring a former employee and make-up artist friend of Karla’s. It was printed on canvas, and I think it looks pretty rad right under the gorgeous new chandelier!
